چکیده
Molecular classification of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) aids prognostic stratification and clinical management. Our aim in this study is to identify transcriptome-wide mRNAs that are specific each the molecular subtypes AML. We analyzed RNA-sequencing data 955 AML samples from three cohorts, including BeatAML project, Cancer Genome Atlas, a cohort Swedish patients provide comprehensive view subtype-specific mRNA expression. identified 729 mRNAs, discovered project validated other two cohorts. Using unique proteomics data, we also presence at protein level, yielding rich collection potential protein-based biomarkers for community. To enable exploration expression by broader scientific community, an interactive resource public.

متن کاملThe Epigenetic Landscape of Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a genetically heterogeneous disease. Certain cytogenetic and molecular genetic mutations are recognized to have an impact on prognosis, leading to their inclusion in some prognostic stratification systems. Recently, the advent of high-throughput whole genome or exome sequencing has led to the identification of several novel recurrent mutations in AML, a number of...
متن کاملEvaluation of the CD123 Expression and FLT3 Gene Mutations in Patients with Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Background and Objective: Identification of cytogenetic and molecular changes plays an important role in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients. Thus, they are used in classification, prognosis and treatment of the disease. The CD123 expression and FLT3 gene mutations are also the variations that may assist in prognosis and treatment of patients with AML.Methods:</...
متن کاملThe role of microRNA in acute/chronic, myeloid/lymphocytic leukemia
MicroRNAs are small, non-coding sequences that regulate gene expression by inducing degradation or translational inhibition of target mRNAs. These molecules control many intracellular physiological and pathological processes.Abnormal expression of these moleculs has been described in different cancers including hematopoietic cancers. According to the type of cancer and the stage, miRNA’s expres...
متن کاملPrognostically useful gene-expression profiles in acute myeloid leukemia.
BACKGROUND In patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) a combination of methods must be used to classify the disease, make therapeutic decisions, and determine the prognosis. However, this combined approach provides correct therapeutic and prognostic information in only 50 percent of cases. METHODS We determined the gene-expression profiles in samples of peripheral blood or bone marrow from...
